However, it is worth noting some points that you will not find in advertising. Under the foggy phrase "pyrophosphate complex" is hidden one single compound - potassium pyrophosphate. Accordingly, the paste will also slightly reduce tooth sensitivity due to potassium ions.
As for the pyrophosphate part, polyphosphates in general and pyrophosphates in particular really contribute to the binding of calcium ions from the tartar matrix, thereby loosening it and making it more susceptible to erasing by the toothbrush.
